Use of Service

AcrossRide Group is intended to support group coordination, live tracking, communication and trip organisation during travel and outdoor activities.

Users are responsible for using the application in a lawful and responsible manner.

Emergency Features

The SOS feature is intended to notify participants of the same trip that a user may require attention or assistance.

AcrossRide Group is not an emergency service and does not replace emergency services, rescue organisations, medical assistance or local authorities.

In an emergency, users should contact the appropriate local emergency services directly.

Location and Connectivity

Some AcrossRide Group features depend on GPS, mobile data, internet connectivity, device settings and third-party services.

Location information, notifications or messages may therefore be delayed, unavailable or inaccurate in certain circumstances.

Users should not rely exclusively on AcrossRide Group for navigation, safety or emergency communication.

Account Responsibility

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account, device and any credentials or access information associated with AcrossRide Group.

Users are also responsible for information they voluntarily share with other trip participants.

Acceptable Use

Users must not use AcrossRide Group to:

• violate applicable laws;
• interfere with the operation or security of the service;
• impersonate other users;
• distribute unlawful, harmful or abusive content;
• misuse location, communication or safety features.

Availability

AcrossRide Group is provided on an “as available” basis.

Continuous or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Features may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, network conditions or third-party services.

Liability

AcrossRide Group is intended as a coordination and communication tool.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AcrossRide Group and its operator are not responsible for losses, damages, accidents, injuries or consequences resulting from reliance on the application, inaccurate location information, connectivity failures or misuse of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to the Service or Terms

AcrossRide Group may be updated, modified or discontinued, and these Terms may be updated when necessary.
